Yeah, I'm not taking the post name back. Nu-uh! I like it. Because that is precisely what this is. And this first one is a fish. Don't even remember why it is a fish. But I like it. It's simple yet looks kinda good. Excuse the pencil on the side, there was another drawing beside it and the fish would be cropped if I cut it off. So I left it. I'm thinking I could have done more with the weeds and corals, but I just wanted a bit of a different color there and the main focus be the fish, so it is what it is. I still like it. What do you think?

A fairy mischief maker
So, a fairy. Done in pencil even though I took out my markers. So why the heck did I take them out? Waste of time, that. But back to the fairy. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Hell, even the hands are decent and I have to confess that I have a big problem drawing those. Especially without references. But this time, it kinda worked. This is done in pencil and on slightly toned paper. Like, this off-white kind that doesn't really qualify as toned but isn't really just plain white either. So I could have gone back in with a white pen or something and made the highlight really pop, but I didn't. Guess it didn't occur to me until now. And I'm not going back anymore.
So, am I happy with this? Yes, I am. Could it be even better? Yes, it could, if I thought of it before I sealed it and started writing this post. So whatever, maybe next time. But please tell me what you think. And you don't need to mention the hands. I know they are not perfect, but by my standards, they are pretty decent so I'm happy with them, though I will, of course, try to do even better next time. See ya!

Just some junk and a face
So, this is a sketch of a set of junk items one could find in an art room, or perhaps a crafting room. I like how it turned out even though it's definitely not perfect. Partly, the blame lies with the source image being too small and me not being able to see the wrapped box well enough. I did not know where the details were and so I had to improvise a little bit. Despite that, I think it didn't turn out too bad. For a sketch that is. It was drawn on an A6 format with a regular pencil. And with a lot of help from a kneaded eraser. Tell me what you think?
Okay, this one is photographed wrong. Just wrong. When I compare it to the real thing, this one's chin is too long. I don't know how I managed to do that, but at the same time, I was too lazy to photograph it again. And yes, if you haven't noticed, I photograph my drawings instead of scanning them. I find that it's faster. Especially as I can just upload it from my phone to google photos and then directly insert it here.
This picture was also done on an A6 format and with the same regular pencil. It was done in two steps. The first one had me finishing most of the face, while the second one focused on the neck, hair, and some details I missed in step one. For some reason, the end result seems like ti's really good while at the same time, it seems really really bad. Most of the bad vibes come from the chin looking too long in the photo. Trust me, the real deal looks quite a bit better. Still, I would like to know if you like it and if you don't, I would like to know why. Though, please, keep it civil. At least a little bit. Okay?

Because I could
So, I did some tweaking of the design. Nothing drastic, just some cosmetic changes. I changed the width of the page and increased the width of the sidebar a little. I also changed the font size and some font colors. Mostly to make it a bit more contrasting. Also, the font size change was because I have a huge monitor and it has a huge resolution. I also have it quite a bit of a distance from myself and so I have a hard time reading small text without magnifying it a little so I increased the font size to an optimal size of 20px for the posts and similar size for everything else.
Hope you don't mind this change as it is here to stay. At least for as long as I have this display.

P.S. I decided to no longer use only 3 tags per post. I'm now using as many as I want. So I might end up tweaking the way the tags show, but I'm not sure yet.
