Been a while, huh?

(Written on 28. 11. 2014)

So, it seems like I haven't written anything for a while. I mean sure, just recently I posted a bunch of things, but they were written in september... So I decided to write something more. Like, I don't really know what, but I did see a bunch of movies. Like the... Oh yes! The Judge with Robert Downey Jr. and what was the other one? ...
O ja! The Interstellar. It was one of teh few sci-fy I can actually see. It was nice and I liked the whole idea of interconnected timelines. I love when timelines are connected or when there's time travel to the past when it is actually relevant, like... I don't know, for example how it was in HP 3 or even in X-men: Days of Future past. And then there is this one book where it really is interconnected like to the point that you have to directly interact with your past's self. Okay, the english original is called Circle of Magic: Danger in the Palace. And this is book five out of six. I have them all and I've read them all, but this fifth one will always be my favourite.
And seriously, if you get your hand on it, read it. It's worth it. I mean sure, it's just this little book, but I like it.
As for the main reason that I haven't been writing, well, I have a lot of schoolwork to do and I have been reading a lot of stories and also playing Grimrock. Yes, I know - shocker. But well, it's like the best game invented! And I just can't wait to get my hands on Grimrock 2. From what I've been told, it's awesome!
I've also been writing stories. Lately, I've been a lot into fanfiction and been writing it a lot. Mainly Grimrock fanfiction, but I'm also a big fan of crossovers and so some of my Grimrock stories are crossed with for example Harry Potter or something. But it's not just Grimrock I write, I also write HP crossovers. And lately, I've been thinking about writing an Avengers go into Grimrock story, but I have yet to figure out how to do it so that they end in there. I mean, I could just have Loki magick them there with a botched spellwork, but the thing is it would be a shame if Loki wasn't there as well. And while a botched spellwork could do it, it's not enough. So I will probably have to figure out something better.
Hopefully, my mind will supply me with something soon.
Because, recently, I figured how to make Grimrock portraits and therefore my custom characters with my own portraits and not with just what I download. So... I googled a lot and found a cute chibi avengers Picture so I disected it to the right sizes and created first and foremost Loki, then Tony, Hawkeye and Thor and as an afterthought a portrait of Hulk. Though I'm not playing with him just yet. So far, I'm playing with the other four. And more or less without cheating. The one thing I did though was to add some extra traits. Like headhunter for example and of course, thunderstruck.
Heh. Maybe I will go and listen to some AC/DC.
So bye.

Maze Runner

(Written on 27. 9. 2014)

I love Marvel, I love Marvel Cinematic universe, but I also love fantasy and dystopian movies. And this time, I was in luck. Yesterday, I went to the cinema with my mother to see the Maze Runner movie. And it was awesome! A band of boys and one girl trapped in this gigantic maze swarming with "greavers". Amazing. And with no idea why they're there and no idea how to get out. That is, until the newbie boy manages to kill one of the greavers and they find they are at least part machines and také one of the parts with them.
The boy (Thomas) then goes exploring again, with another guy - Minho and they find a section of the maze, they haven't found before. And they start thinking that there might be a way out after all.
But one of the other guys doesn't want to get out of there, he says that this is their home now. Well, let's just say, that their area suddenly openes all of the gates and the greavers start pouring in. After that, the group splits in two, one part stays and the other one, they decide to try and find a way out. They manage, but loose a few of their own. After that, some questions are answered, but many more arise and the kids are herded into a chopper and fly somwhere who knows where, which will probably be in the next movie.
And I can't wait for it.
My mother doesn't agree with all the unanswered questions, but I think it makes it interesting. Like, a lot of speculations between the people who didn't read the books and probably even between the ones who read them. I myself am actually thinking about reading the second book, because, hey! I want to know what happenes next! The movie was amazing! And it also has huge potential for fanfiction. Well, so far there are only a few right now, but I'm hoping there will be more with time.
Well, that's probably it for now.
See ya next time.

Writing 101 - Day Seven: Give and Take

(Written on 18. 9. 2014 for Dailypost's Writing 101)

This time, it's to write about a contrast between two things. And you know? The first thing that came to my mind was to write about darkness and light and somehow incorporate my usual rant about darkness being the same as evil and light being good, because you know, that's a total bulshit. Yeah, sure, Light and darkness are opposites and all that, that's true. They are balanced and one can't really exist without the other, but they are vastly different. With darkness is usually associated destruction and chaos. While that may be, I like to think that there can be other things to darkness. And as for light, usually healing is a part of light and also anything white.
Well, on the other hand, what if there is no light and darkness, just shades of gray that sometimes can seem white and sometimes gray?

And as for the comparsion of light and darkness to good and evil, I hate when people do that, because I'm of the opinion that light and darkness are just elements. Two of the seven primary elements. Yes, now you're going to argue with me that there are only four, but hey! I can bend the rules, that's why it's called fantasy! Anyone can do anything they want with it. It's not facts! So, for me, the seven primary elements are light, darkness, fire, water, earth wind and lightning. Because you just cannot forget lightning.
And I feel like I've written something like this before. And several times...
With that said, I'll end this post and see you with the next one.

Writing 101 - Day Five: Be Brief

(Written on 18. 9. 2014 for Dailypost's Writing 101)

So I find a letter... What's in it? Probably a conspiration theroy of some kind. I love those. and if I were to find a letter I would hope it would be some kind of a prediction of DOOM. As for returning it to the person adressed to, yeah, sure, I would, but only if they let me join in the conspiration theory! I want in!
So I would look and see who it's adressed to and I would go there and I would threaten them to turn the letter to the police or burn it (it probably contains something of importance the theorist's don't want to lose) if they didn't let me join in on the fun.

How's that?
What would be in your letter and what would you do with it?

Writing 101 - Loss

(Written on 18. 9. 2014 for dailypost's writing 101)

So... What did I lose that would be ideal to write about? I could write about the time I lost my best friend, I could write about when my dog died of old age or I could write about the cats that never came back... Yes, I could, but that is not what I'm gonna be writing about. What I'm gonna tell you is actaully kinda funny. Well, funny... Depends on your definition of funny... I mean, it wasn't funny when it happened, but hey, now when I look back, it totally is!
So, it was sometime when I was in my last or one but last year of grade school or something. We had PE and I was in the changing room. I put my sweatshirt on a hanger and went to class. After PE, I came, changed out of my PE clothes and left with my bag and PE stuff. Well, let's just say... I never did také the sweatshirt from the hanger and only when I came back home did I realize that I left it there. Back then, I was worried what my mum would say if she knew so I never told her, but right now, when I look back at this, it's really funny, cause I just left it there... In plain sight and well... It's funny. At least, for me it's funny.

Three songs

(Written for Writing 101 on dailypost.wordpress.com on 18. 9. 2014)

So, what are the three songs that are most important to me? First, I need to say, that it would be three songs that are most important to me now, not of all time, because what I like to listen to keeps changing based on what I hear, see and many more factors.
And the three songs I like the most at this moment are: Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack - Redbone - Come and get your love. Next one is Sara Perche ti Amo and the last one is really tough because I don't really know... It's hard to decide between Nightwish's Turn loose the mermaids and Limahl's Never ending Story, but it would probably be the Neverending story.
So, why do I like Redbone - Come and get your love? Well, not too long ago, I saw the new movie Guardians of the Galaxy and there was this one scene that I loved, it was near the begining and Quil was dancing and this song was playing. Then I came home and I couldn't get it out of my mind so a few days after that I started searching on youtube and I found it. So of course, me being me, I listened to it over and over again and couldn't get myself to stop. It has really nice rythm and is great for dancing. And even though I hate dancing, this is the one song that gets even me moving.
Next song is Sara Perche ti Amo and I made it my goal to learn the lyrics. I'm making slow progress, but I think I have the first half down quite nicely. I don't know why I love this song. I heard it somwhere and then there was a period of time when I was downloading anything and everything when it comes to music. So I downloaded a rar file from one website and one of the songs was this one. And somehow, I just started to listen to it more and more and soon it was one of my most favourite songs.
And the last one is Limahl's Never Ending story. I saw all the movies and while they weren't bad, I prefered the TV series. Series that I can't find anywhere on the internet... Pitty... Well, but the thing is, I decided that I like the song and I even learned the text and was always singing along. As for the TV series, that was in the TV when I was around 13 or something. And I really loved it. I liked the idea of Atrei not being a boy but a man. And that it was really interconnected, the land from the book and the "real world". Yes, in the later movies, this is too, but not so much as in the TV series. It was only one season they were screening, but I think there was actually season 2, just probably never made in czech... But I'm too lazy to actually deal with that... So I ditched it. I mean, who cares? I don't. I just love it and would have liked to watch it again. But it's nowhere to be found...

I would have loved to include my fourth most favourite song, but it says three so I will only talk about it very quickly. It's Turn loose the mermaids from Nightwish and it is really great for if you want to sing along with them. Great lyrics and really beautifull melody. You just can't not sing.

Okay, that's it. I'm stopping now and will get on to the next excersise or something.

Marvel

(Written on 17. 9. 2014)

First of, I'm not gonna go into the comic-verse, only the movie verse. I never read the comic books and I never will. Comic books aren't my style and I just cannot get over how some of the characters are drawn. Like Hawkeye, I mean, purple? Weird purple? Come on! After seeing him being portrayed by Renner, I just can't imagine him in any other way! And I mean, Renner, who could say no to that?
So, that's why I'll never read the comic books, On the other hand, I never say no to going on the internet and finding more about specific characters. Not all but sometimes, further info is necessary.
However, I've watched practically everything that is part of MCU (Marvel cinematic universe). With the exception of Amazing spiderman 2, where I'm waiting for a better quallity to be available on the net. Maybe it's already there, but I have yet to see it.

Still, the best thing about Marvel is that they created this whole universe that is interconnected in all their movies and even the comics, but as I haven't read those, I can't really talk. Still, the Marvel Cinematic Universe - MCU - is great and I love how it all ties together. I mean, for a while, the x-men stood alone, but in one of the other movies, I think it was in Captain America 2, in the after credits scene, there are Wanda and Pietro Maximoff - Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. And those are mutants and so it ties together nicely.
The whole idea is amazing and I'm eagerly awaiting the new movies that are announced. Like the one about Black Widow and Cap 3 as well as Avengers 2 and I also heard rumors about a third version of the Hulk movie, this one staring Mark Ruffalo, the one who played Banner in Avengers. I think it would be interesting. As it would have the same actor and I think that would be a plus.

So, I will probably write more about the individual movies as they come out or as I watch them, but I'm not making any promises. Still, MCU is amazing and I think you should watch the movies. As well as the TV series Agents of SHIELD and even the one shots that are basically very short films - like "Something funny happened on the way to Thor's Hammer".

Zodiac (2007)

(Written on 16. 9. 2014)

So I'm watching the movie Zodiac from 2007 where one of the main cast is Robert Downey Jr.

(Continued on 17. 9. 2014)

Well, seems like I stopped after just one sentence. Well, I guess the movie was way too captivating for me not to watch. I did finish watching it though. And I have to say that the second part was not really that interesting. Yeah, that morron was running here and there trying to find out who Zodiac was, but hey, I was watching it because of RDJ and in the second half, he has one flimsy appearance... Not cool at all!
But still, I did enjoy the movie. All the cyphers and codes and the hunt for the killer. And one more thing, Mark Ruffalo (is that how it's spelled?), the guy who played Bruce Banner in Avengers, was playing in this movie. That's another good thing. well, he's one of those in whose movies i haven't yet looked, but I will.
So, if you like crime and mysteries, I think you would enjoy the movie. It was not amazing, but it was pretty good, that's for sure.
However, I can't say I like the females that were in the movie. I mean, I can understand the guys had wifes, but seriously, I don't much like women... There are exceptions - mainly from Marvel. But that's another thing entirely.

Okay, I should probably stop, as I'm writing complete bulshit.

Agents of SHIELD

(Written on 16. 9. 2014)

Today, I finished watching the first season of Agents of SHIELD. It was awesome and with several twists I didn't expect. Like, who turned out to be the clairvoyant and also that Ward was Hydra. Well, I did expect that a little, as it was a part of a story I read, but still... Well, the good part is that they caught him and there were a lot of funny parts.
Like, at the end, there was Coulson going back for a "thing" and firing it and obliterating the clairvoyant who wasn't really clairvoyant.
There will also be a second season, so I'm very much looking forward to it. And how Coulson will rebuild SHIELD. That will surely be interesting.

This show is really good and I loved it. Also the fact, that it is Marvel is a good thing. Right now, I'm pretty much obsessed with anything that is Marvel, so I watch anything and everything I can get my hand son. Including non-Marvel movies that have the Avengers cast playing in them.
And it will probably not stop there and I will look also into stuff that has Coulson's team playing in it.

And what about you, dear readers? Do you like Marvel and more specifically Agents of SHIELD? If yes, what did you like the most? For me it was the fact that Coulson was alive and kicking ass. Also, I love Skye's hacking skills and the bickering between Fitz and Simmons. It's hillarious.
On the other hand, I was really hoping that maybe Hawkeye or Black Widow would appear on it for at least one episode, but no, they didn't... Well, we did get to see Sif in one ep... But that's not enough. So I hope that one of the two I mentioned will be on season 2. Even if just for one episode. One episode would be enough and Hawkeye is such an underappreciated Avenger... I think he should have more screen time.

Okay, I will shut up now and let you make heads and tails of this post.
And as for coments, they would make me happy, so if you have something to say, say it!

Blood Moon Online

(Written on 11. 9. 2014)

Two or three days ago I found an interesting online game. It's with werevolfs, vampires and hunters. At first, I thought it would be boring and a bit too much of a reminder that I hate Twilight, but hey, it turned to be a good one. First, you pick your race. I play on two servers and on one I'm a hunter and on the other I'm a vampire. Then you pick a name and a portrait. Oh, and I think that the hunters have better portraits. At least, the females do. I didn't check the male portraits much, so I cannot speak for those.
Then, they walk you through it. There are quests, fights against other players and so called boss fights that are accessible through the world map. You also have a sanctuary, where you can improve it's appearance and it looks good!
Next thing is the graphics. I mean, not much when it comes to the game, but when it comes to the interface when you're questing, amazing pictures to look at! I even started to draw them. Well, not all of them, but the ones I really like, like... Creepy house, ruined castle, abandoned graveyard, some werid dock or something...
Love it!
Then there are shops for potions and for weapons and gear. But you can usually find the gear by questing. The potions, however, are quite interesting and I use them often, well, as often as I can, because I don't like buying the ones costing "hematit", which is currency bought with real money (or sometimes found through questing).
Last interesting thing are the "guilds". I'm pretty sure they are not actually called guilds in the original english version, but I'm too lazy to go check it out. So let's call it a guild.
The guild has three buildings and each one gives one bonus. One gives health bonus, other expi bonus and the last one gives gold bonus. All depending on the building level, of course.
This game may sound boring to you, but I love it very much, mainly because of the pictures during the quest interface. I was literaly blown away by them! And when I force myself to actually film my next sketchbook, I might point out the ones that are from the game.
Okay, I hope I didn't forget anything, but seriously, I love it, so if you're bored or have some free time on your hands, or if you simply like playing online games, go check it out!

How to train your dragon 2

About two days ago, I managed to force myself to watch the second How to train your dragon movie. And man, it was awesome! Okay, I admit I didn't like Hiccup's helmet, but other than that, it was amazing. And there were some really funny scenes too!
The gist of the plotline is that Hiccup is flying around and stumbles upon a dragon trapping band. Then, a bunch of dragons take him and Toothless to a frozen spiky kind of a dragon cliff and he meets an interesting dragon "master". It turns out it is his mother and she's been living in the cliff with the alpha dragon there for 20 years straight.
The dragon trappers are connected to this evil overlord that comands another alpha dragon and the two alphas clash. During that, Hiccup's father is killed and the bloody bastard goes and attacks Burk (is that the correct spelling?). However, since the "evil" alpha defeted the other one, it also took control of the dragons, so they have to improvise to get to Berk.
Thankfully, there are still the baby dragons, which will not be controled by anyone. Not alpha and not really by a human either.
So they get to Berk and Hiccup regains control over Toothless - through their friendship.
After that, Toothless challenges the "evil" alpha and wins, thus kinda becoming the new alpha for all the present dragons.

The movie was amazing and I loved it very much. Mainly all the aerial tricks. As well as the battle of Toothless vs. the Alpha. It was simply great!
After this, I did a bit of a research and found out there will be a third movie, which I just can't wait to see, seeing as Hiccup become the village leader and I want to see how that will turn out. I'm also interested in what new tricks on dragons there will be.
Can't wait.

Uh.... Is it just me, or am I really bad at writing reviews? I think I'm not really that great at it, but I love writing it. It's just... Apart from the storyline and a few sentences about my thoughts, I don't really have anything to write...

Okay, but seriously, if you're into animated movies, I think you should watch this one. It will blow you away!

Enough said. I'm now gonna go and rewatch the first Iron Man movie.

The Saddle Club

Yesterday, I saw the last episode of the series Saddle club. I've been watching it on and off for a while now. I'm not sure which season I like the most... I mean, all have some better and some worse episodes. Though if I really had to choose, I'd probably pick the part where Dorothee is. Which means the first part of season 2. But I prefer the actors from season 3. At least for the saddle club girls. And I like Simon. He livened things up.
On the other hand, I was kinda missing Red and Kristie from the last season. Though Trouble the donkey more than made up for them. And Jack wasn't bad either.
So, what is the series about anyway?
It is about three girls who love horses and form a club together. During the series they encounter different problems, be it Veronika, the annoying rich girls or some problems between them.
Each season has a strong ending, and most of the episodes are pretty interesting. If I remember correctly, I only skipped one episode. And that was because that one didn't interest me.
Sure the show is ment for kids, but it is pretty decent. It's definitely watchable even if you're not a kid. On the other hand, the books it is based on, are pretty terrible. I gave up after not even a full chlapter. If I were to say what it was like, I'll qoute my mom: "It's a badly written horse-riding guide."
And I agree with that.
The books are not worth it, but the series ain't bad.
So, the main characters are Carrole, Stevie and Lisa. The main antagonist (who sometimes does the right thing) is Veronica and then there are some of the more minor characters. In the first series it's Red, Kristie, Melanie and Ashley as well as Phill (NOT COULSON :D). In second series, we gain Dorothee for the first half and some other characters make repeated appearance.
And finally, in the last season, apart from the cast being completely new, we have no Ashley, but gain Jenn as well as Trouble the donkey. We also switch Red for Jack and gain Dezi during the season.
Oh, and for Thor maniacs, in one of the episodes (I think it's in the second season), young Chris Hemsworth plays a new vet. Well, young... Younger. But it's interesting. You can recognize him for his eyes and lips, but other than that, he looks completely different. And has short hair!
So, if you're into horses, this is a pretty decent thing, even though it has girls as pretty much every important character. I'm not much for things where main characters are girls, but this one is not that bad. Though if they did a version where the main characters are guys... Or out right a gay version, I'd be watching it in a heartbeat!
See ya!

Visitors and writing again

Hi,
today my aunt Hana and my cousin't daugter Eliška came to stay with us for a few days. They came around noon and then Eliška started to cuddle the cat. During that time, I tried to help solve a problem or two with my aunt's tablet. Sadly, most of the stuff couldn't be resolved, but at least, we managed to right the game that was displayed upside down.
Me and Eliška also played some Magic the Gathering with the packs I have. I have several and we switched them around a lot, except the one main one, that is only mine and nobody's else! I will never let anyone else handle that one, as I spent a lot of time putting it together, and even now, from time to time, I swap cards round in it.
Okay, then my aunt Majka came and the "adults" went into the forest. Me and Eliška stayed home and we played some computer games and also some more Magic. And then the others were back and we decided to grill something. Like cheese. And so we did. And it was deilicious!

Also, when the evening came, I decided it was time to start writing again. So first I wrote part of the DragonOrder chronicles, that will never be published anywhere and then I opened the file with the Eagle of Hogwarts and started writing. I don't have any idea where I'm going with the story, but it will lead somewhere, for sure!
Okay, that's probably it.

A funny thing happened on the way to Thor's hammer

I just couldn't resist writing about this. It was pure chance I stumbled across the description of this short movie, well, Marvel One shot. So, I read the description and my first decision was to ignore it, but then, I got really into the Agents of SHIELD and I really like Coulson so I decided to look into it. And it turns out that this little Marvel One Shot is just a four minute short movie about Coulson on his way to Thor's hammer. And on his way, he stops at this gas station and while he's in there, it is assaulted by robbers. So he deals with them and it's all just SO funny!
So, I was thinking of actually embedding the video, but decided that no. I had to find it the hard way, so you have to do the same. Just know that it's worth it.
And it has great music!
And it has Phil in it!
Go and find it and watch it. And when you do, come back and tell me what you think about it.

Oh, and yes, I know this is mainly pointless post, but I just had to write it!

BBC's Sherlock: The Blind Banker

I just finished the second episode of this epic TV Series. And while it may be a bit hard to describe, I really did enjoy it. That is, apart from the "circus" scene, which was a bit boring.
So, the gist of it is that Sherlock is hired to check some bank security or something as there was a message left in yellow paint. This leads to three serial murders in which the first two look like suicides - at first. But only to the detective inspector, who in this episode isn't Lestrade and whose name I didn't catch. So Sherlock sees through it and declares it murderes and then tries to decode the messages, which leads them to the circus and some weird chinese organization - Black lotus or something, that smugle things and sell them.
This organization lost one of their items and are trying to get it back. In the end, they kidnap John thinking he's Sherlock. And Sherlock decodes the message with the usage of the right book and then goes to save John's but, who in turn saves the life of the girl being held hostage with him.
And it all ends with them finding the item in question and revealing it's value to the girl who it has been given to by one of the people who were murdered.
Lastly there is this scene with the boss of the organization who is on video chat with - obviously - Moriarty, even though it's not explicitly said or anything. She says she will not reveil his identity and he agrees she wont and then she's shot - probably by a sniper of some kind.

And that's the end of the episode.
I have to say I enjoyed it, even though the first one was better. Somehow lighter and funnier. I'm gonna be watching the rest soon, but probably not right now, I like to have a bit of time between the episodes, and in the meantime watch SHIELD or something similar.
As for SHIELD, I will probably not write about it. Or, if I will, it will not be detailing every single episode, as I'm already on episode 12 or something like that. I might write something about it when I'm donen with it, but I'm not making any promises.

Well, there is one promise I will make, annd that's that I will post here more often. And if I have nothing to write, I will at least post some of the photos I have in my folder that are yet to be published.
See ya soon!

BBC's Sherlock: Study in Pink

Yesterday I started watching BBC's Sherlock. For second time, but last time, I only got as far as the first episode of second season. So I'm watching it all again and will continue with all seasons. The first episode was the Study in Pink. I saw both versions. The "unaired pilot epiosde" and the actual episode that is like 80 minutes long.
It all starts with John moving in with Sherlock and then they are dragged into a case of serial suicides that are actually murders.
It all starts with Lestrade informing them (Sherlock) of another of the murders and they then follow him to the crime scene where Sherlock does his deduction thing and after that leaves in search of a pink suitcase. After that he texts John who is in the meantime kidnapped by Mycroft.
And after saying it will be dangerous, John comes and they end up chasing a taxi through London. Of course that doesn't go that well, even though they do catch it. The one thing it does solve is John's psychosomatic (did I spell that right?) limp. After that, Lestrade barges in on a drug search or something and they end up tracking the victim's phonne.
Sherlock then walks out and gets into this cab that is driven by the murderer. They end up in some place with long tables (I think they said something about it being a college or something similar). There, Sherlock faces of with the murderer in a game. Two pills, one kills and the other does nothing. And only the cabbie knows which is which. It's up to Sherlock to chose, but it's interrupted by John at the last moment, as he shots the cabbie.
Whith his last breath, the cabbie reveals the name of the mastermind behind the crime, even though it was the cabbie who did it. The mastermind's name is Moriarty.
After that Lestrade arrives and Sherlock realizes that it was John who shot the cabbie and the two of them leave while laughing.
Before they can leave completely, they are intercepted by Mycroft, who is Sherlock's brother and the two Holmses argue a bit. After that the episode ends with Sherlock adn John leaving. Probably in the direction of 221 B Baker Street.

This episode is good. I like it a lot. I think it's one of the lighter ones, but I can't really judge as I only saw a few so far.
I will post updates on all the episodes as I see them.
I also promise to write more. I don't like how I'm not adding anything and therefore I will write more. I don't know how often I will add something, but I will, I promise. I will never abandon this site for good.

Weekend with relatives

It's been a while since I've written anyhting here... Last weekend I was visiting my relatives in Sedlnice. We went by bus and arrived around lunch time. Of course the bus only goes to Nový Jičín so we had to take another bus to Borovec and the last part we went on foot. Mother recieved a call from one of her brothers on the way and she was chatting about a third of the way. Then we arrived and were greeted by the dog Fido.
After that we went into the house and said "Hi" to my grandma. We chatted for a bit and then Eliška came together with a friend of hers - Natka. And of course, they wanted to play on my laptop. So I let them and was there with them and in the end we were taking turns playing Minecraft. We created an amazing underground house with a lot of stuff. It was a bit crazy but fun non the less. After that Natka went home and Eliška wanted to try Playing Mount and Blade and that's where everything went to Hell.
Well, not really the first day, that was kinda okay.
So I taught her how to play it and was partly watching and partly going upstairs and checking what the rest of them were doing, which was playing cards.
In the end Eliška went home (next door) too and I had my laptop just for myself. I was playing as well - Mount and Blade and while I was at it, I was listening to the fourth Mission Impossible movie - the Ghost Protocol. And I love that movie. Mainly because it has Jeremy Renner in it.
And then I finally went to bed.

The next day was not cool at all. I mean sure, I had the laptop for myself for about half an hour in the morninng before Eliška came, but then it went south. She basically kicked me out and was playing Mount and Blade almost the whole day. So I had like... nothing to do. Mainly because I didn't know what to draw and the book I had with me was boring. I mean, yeah, it's the last part of the Inheritance cycle, but still... It's so boringly written...
So I was on the balcony for a while just staring in the space and then I retreated to the room I slept in and just lay there on the bed and for several hours I did nothing but stare on the ceiling.
It was only when evening came that I finally woke from my lethargy. And that's because a gigantic storm came. I love storms and I just had to get a better look. I spent some time outside in the rain and then upstairs having fun because my grandmother is really afraid of thunderstorms. And without any actuall reason too! So... I mean, there's nothing scarry about storms! It's just Thor having a bad day!

As for the last day - monday, I woke early as well. So, in the morning I had the laptop for myself. Then, of course, Eliška kicked me out again so I had to go and find something else to do. I didn't want to jsut stare at the ceiling again so I stole a pack of cards and made a card house. Well, card tower.
At first, it was just the regular card house, but then it keeled over and I had to start again so I went with circular base and made my way up and ended up with a nice little tower. I just have to bring my camera next time I do something like that, because the only photo I have is taken with my crappy phone.
Anyway, I'm adding it anyway.

After the cardtower it was almost time to go so we went and packed our stuff and then my cousin Katka drove us to the bus station in Nový Jičín and there we waited for Student Agency bus to take us back to Brno.
On the way I was listening to music and for the first time in a while, I took out my laptop and was reading stories. It was nice.
And then we came to Brno and it was raining and I was really happy about that! Because I just love rain. It got pretty bad when we came. So bad I had to close the window. Not because it was cold, but because the rain was coming in and it soaked my stuff I had laying on the window sill. Not cool at all! But it's dry now so it's fine. Sure, some of it is a bit wrinkeled, but it's okay, it survived!

And what about you guys? Did you have a nice weekend? I hope you did.
Oh, and if you did, tell me. Also, tell me if you like my card tower. And please excuse the poor quality of the photo. :)

"Day two: A room with a view"

(Written on 20. 6. 2014)

So, again, a post related to the writing 101 on dailypost.wordpress.com.
This time the task is to write about a place you want to be in.
So, where would I want to go?
That's easy. The worlds I dream about. The worlds that center around the organization of DragonOrder I made up and it's home-world. The ShadowRealm. The city of CrowHaven and the NightmareCastle. But alas, as this place only exists in my imagination, I cannot go there physically. On the other hand, I can retreat there anytime I want whenever and wherever I'm.
I would like to tell you more about the DO, but I will not. that thing is my and mine only. And noone will ever know what exactly it is. I will give you something though. The organization's main goal is to unify the time flow of every world there is, which is an impossible task seeing as there are new worlds created every second and some of them dissapear.
However, a world is anchored once a time anchor is established. The only exception is when an alternative to an already existing world appears. When that happens and the DO's agents enter, the previous one will vanish.

However, to tell you more about the DO's headquarters. Well, not really the castle that is the HQ, but the world. There are dragons there. The most endangered species. The Silver-eyes-black-dragons. More comonly known as silver eyes.
There are not many of them left. However, they call the Shadow Realm their home and will help to defend it if needed.

What more do you want to know? I want to be there.
It is the place of my dreams and maybe, I will be there one day, in some different life. I would like that.
What do you think? Will I ever get there?
I hope I will...

20 minute challenge

So,
I decided to do the writing 101 challenge on wordpress. The first thing is to write for 20 minutes straight. And not stop and just continue, which is exactly what I'm gonna do. The problem will be when I start making tyost and go... See? I just made a typo and it was in the word typo. And that's the main problem. I write kinda fast and then I make mistakes and go back and delete and rewrite.
And that is the one thing I don't want to do.
But sometimes, it just happens.
Today's boring.
And I just want to look out of my window nad watch the clu... cloudy sky and the wind blowing in the tree I can see.
But that would be boring. It would be much ba... better to watch rain. But there is no rain and I want it.
Do you like rain? I love it. And when it's raining, the possibib... possibility of me going out is much higher than when it is a sunny day.
And that just sucks.
Because then I would be going out just by mu- myself. And that is not fun.
I - I . I'm not much for going out, but when it rains, I really enjoy it.
And when it doesn't, I prefer to be holed up in my room and do something or other.
Usually I just read stories on fanfiction and that is it. But sometimes, I write, draw or do some crafts. Lately, I also play Legend of Grimrock a lot and that is the best computer game I've played so far in my life. It is a dungeon crawler that is the "modern dungeon master". Not that I played dungeon master. That one is not known to me. Well, I don knw- I do know it a bit, but I've never played it.
Also, Legend of Grimrock is better, because it has better graphics and dungeon master is really old. Though, for the time it was invented in, I guess it is kinda good... But I don't like it. I prefer Grimrock.
Alsi- Also, I've read a story. It is called Teeth. You can find in- it on fi- fanfiction and it is under avengers and Harry Potter crossovers and it is great. But the one thing I cannot wrap my mind around is the fact that there i- is a gobnli- goblin and his name is Grimrock. And that is just! I don't know... It seems wrong to name him after a game. Though I guess the author doesn't know about the game. I wouldn't know. I didn't ask. But it would make sence.
Still, I just cannot wrap my mind around that little fact.
Other than that, the story is good.
By the way, do you like to listeh- listen to music when you write?
This old man I see almost every day just walked past my house again.
He looks weird. But I'm sure he's perfectly normal old man.
But I wouldn't know. I never talked to him.
Hey, the wind is picking up again! That's good.
Hey... I need to stop using hey.
But I can't stop. Not when I'm using it in this writing excersice. I need to go and look at the rest of them. And that is because i- this started on the second of june and now it is the 1- 20th of june and I'm behind. And I like writing challenges.
And this one sounds good. At least to me.
A a- caa- car went past my window. It was white. One of the cars I like is a mazda f3 in white. The one from ... How is it called g- again? O h- Oh yeah! Inith- Inith- Initial D. And the car o- is from that.
My second favourite car would be the 1967 chevy impala from Supernatural and then the chefr- chevrolet cruz parked just around the corner from my house. That last one is my most favourite right now, but I doN¨t really know much about cars and that is why - What the hell I'm writing?
I don't know... It is really hard to write in english weh- when you're listening to czech songs. And I cannot even move the songs because that would be- mean stopping the writing and that is just a no-no.
So, the song is about the cinderella. The old czech one. The one in black and white. Not the disney one. I never a- saw that one. And I never will.. Disney old thing - things are just annoying. I do like some of the newer disney movies. Be it animated or live action. I got nothing against disney, just against the really old movies taht are- that are animated. And hey... A group of people visible from my vindow. One of them is en- doing something with t- a car and then the - there is a guy on a bycycle and he was going round and round. Waiting for a girl with a kid also on a bycycle.
And now there is a little girl or bof- boy? Hard to tell, too small a baby. Probably a boy. With parrents.
Adn - And a- I need to stop looking from my window or I will stop writign- writing. And I don't want that.
Though, I'm running out of thing s- things to write.
Even though I -' ---- I'm supposed to keep writing regardless. So, what do I wna- And I need to stop making these typos.
Good thing that I usually do go back a - and corrc- correct them. Or my posts would be a disaster. And it is not because my english is wobly. It is because I type sof a- so fast that the letters just go together wrong i- or in the wrong order. And that is just wrong.
So I guess I will slow down a bit. Because ti- it would be good to stop mai- making these typos.
I don't like hem.
- them.
Whatever.
Did you ever want to fly? (E- Where did that come from?)
Nevermind. I did and still do. Using the wings of a dragon. But I'm not gonna tell you all about the bacground story for my nickname. That would be to confusing and I don't want to tell anyone. Taht'- That's just for me to know and nobody else
Maybe I tiw- It - it will come to be in the next life. I don¨t know but I would ki- like it.
Okay, let's see if I can keep this typo free from now on. Only four mini- minutes left. And already I made a typo.
Whad - what designs do you prefer? Light colored or darker, ? Or colorfull? Or a specific color? I prefer dark ones because they are easier on eyes when working in the evening. And during the day? I o- don't really care as long as it doesn't blink too much. Too much blinking and glitter can be bad for one's eyes.
And I would like to keke- keep my eyes intact.
So a shoutout to anyone who has blinking design, do something about it for the sake of the rest of us.
That is, if you want us to read it. If you don't want us to read it, then make it even blinkier.
Does that word even make sence? I don't thing so, but I guess you get the idea.
Two more minutes.
And the song is still the same... I hate th e- the song. And I wonder what will be the next one and if it will come before the time is up... I would like to write about it and I want to fit it in this post. But who knows if it will be possible... We will just have to wait and see. A-
And in the meantime keep writing.
Bu- Even though I really! don't know what else to write.
Maybe that I woiuld really like it if it started to rain...
And the song is still pal- playing. Though... I guess it is comming to en - an end. Slowly, bus u- surely.
And it is only the last minute.
And the song will not be over d- till the time is up.
So wo- you will not know what the next one is. And I will not tell you.
And this said, I'm DONE.

X-men: Days of Future Past

(Written on 27. 5. 2014)

So I've seen the new X-men movie. Yesterday, in fact. And It was just perfect. I love all the X-men stuff. With the exception of the anime "Wolverine" And the new Wolverine movie that takes place in Japan. I mean, I love Japan, but the movie is weird.
But to get back on track, the movie.
It was perfect. Great effects and stunts. The story was great too, I mean, who doesn't like time travelling? Right?
And it was Logan who was travelling back in time. And it was Kitty that sent him there. And while they were getting their asses kicked in the future, Logan was working hard to change the past. And with it the future.
And how it ended, well, go watch it.
Just know that there is young Charles Xavier and young Erik Lencher. And they're really fun! All the bickering and provocation! The only downside is young Beast, but that's because I just don't like his younger version that much.

Drafts or no drafts?

(Written on 21. 5. 2014)

I've been wondering.
About what? The draft system that many blogging servers support. Basically, it means you write your post but save it as a draft and publish it later. Do you do this? Or do you publish everything immediatelly?
Me, I've got four blogs. One is just for my stories and fanfics and as such, I post there only when I've got enough lenghth of a story.
But my other three blogs, I've got them sorted out in a way when I post a post on each every three days. I rotate them. Each day I work on different one.

Blogging anyone?

I was about to write a post about all the blogs out there that have different tips for bloggers, but then I realized that it doesn't matter. In the end, it's not the tips from different sites but you and your ideas that make your blog.
No amount of tips will help you to be the best. And while these tips can help you move forward a bit, they will not help you write the actuall posts. It's more like help with designs and setting things up and general to do and not to do.
So, what is really important when you're blogging is to have a layout that will be easy to read on and menu where your readers can easilly orient themselves. Too much things or too little things will probably make them leave.

Shortening

Just a quick note for you to understand that I decided to shorten all the posts and for you, in order to read the whole thing, you need to click the "read more" link.
It's just that the posts are long and I don't want to have the front page too full.

Anywhere doors?

In response to the Daily Prompt - Pick Your Gadget.

It was hard to choose between the time travelling machine and the anywhere doors, but in the end the doors won because I've been reading too much of Simon R. Green and there are doors there that can be used to create a doorway anywhere. You can simply put them against a wall and they will let you pass through. Just don't forget to get them charget after excessive usage.
So, this is the doors from Simon R. Green's novels that I really love.

Rose Knight

Just wanted to reflect on my playing strategy for the League of Angels MMORPG. You see, I'm level 60, but I'm still using one of the weakest heroes. I'm still using Rose Knight. I just can't let him go. He was my favourite right from the start. And while I understand I could just keep him, but not have him active in my party, I just can't do that.
So I'm weakening myself on purpose. Is it bad? If I were a serious gamer, it might be, but I'm all about the cool stuff and it doesn't matter if it's weak. I mean, if it's weak, I'll just enhance it till it's strong. Because, I'm not letting him go!
There is no longer a way for me to get blue hero souls so I wouldn't be able to re-recruit him if I fired him. And I'm definitely not doing that.
Yes, he's weak compared to some of the heroes I can recruit now, but he's still the coolest of them all! The best looking one! Yes, it's the stupidest reason you can get, but it's the truth! I'm keeping him, cause he's cool looking!
Think me crazy, I don't care. I'm still not getting rid of him.

The Indisposed Cat

A few days back, our cat hurt his leg. So, today (monday - 12. 5. 2014), my father took him to the vet to have him fixed. They were there for more than an hour as he had to have that leg operated on. In the end, they came home and Mikeš has the leg wrapped in this black bandage. And he doesn't like it. He's really annoying as he's mewing while sitting in the middle of the room. Not really wanting anything, but just mewing!
And then he went out and is traipsing somwhere in our front garden.
Okay, so that said, let's hope he will get better. I mean, during the weekend he was walking only on three legs. But now, he's starting to use his fourth one again as well. Not much, but at least, he's not just holding it in the air anymore.
And here I've got a little photo of him with his patched up leg.

Okay, this is it. He's sitting in front of the door, obviously wanting to go out.

The clouds

Today I'm not gonna bore you to death with long talks. I simply want to share my photos with you. For a few days now, I was taking photos of the sky visible from my window. And I decided to post them all here in this post.
The only thing I want to ask is if you would consider commenting. :)

Thor: The Dark World

So, yesterday, I think it was yesterday (8. 5. 2014) I finally saw the second Thor movie. And I loved it. I mean, come on! Loki kills it! My favourite characters are Loki and Thor. Jane? Not so much, but I don't usually like female characters. I didn't mind Darcy though. She was funny.
So, what's the story about? This "eater" or something. A long time ago, it was sealed. Only, somehow, it ends up in Jane Foster by some freak accident. And then, the bad guy - Malekith wakes up from a sort of coma in order to go after it.
Throw in Thor trying to protect Jane and being forced to team up with Loki, let's just say, you definitely won't be bored! I sure wasn't. And while I won't reveal it, the ending part is the best. The one taking place in Asgard. Because we already established I don't like Jane.
If you've seen the first movie, I'm sure you will like this one even more. And the Loki moments are great!
I'm sre as hell looking forward to the third movie. The only bad thing about that is that we have to wait. And I don't like waiting. Not at all!
Okay, whatever, I'm getting sidetracked. So, did you see this movie? If yes, did you like it? If yes, why? If not, again, why and what movies do you prefer instead? If any...
See ya!

Just another day

In response to Daily Prompt.
I cannot say that I have a favourite daily ritual. But my favourite part of the day are usually evenings when I can sit down to my laptop and read/write/watch anything I want and I don't have anything else to do anymore as all I had to do is at this point usually already done.
I enjoy just sitting and writing or watching anime. It varies what I do, but it usually involves FF.net in some way. It usually also involves anilinkz.com as it is my main sourse of anime. They have a lot of it there and I think it is the biggest archive of anime on the internet since the era of phoanime.com, which I believe no longer exists.
However, now that I think about all I've written, I think there is another "kinda-sorta-ritual" that I enjoy. And that is when my mother is using my laptop to play Taptiles as I'm the only one in the family with windows 8. And during this time, I either draw or read a book. Right now I have a really good one - The Man with the Golden Torc written by Simon R. Green. I love his books, but my favourite series from him is the Night Side, however, this is just my translation of the name of the series. I'm too lazy to research it and I also think it is useless to write it in czech as noone would understand it anyway.
So, these are the "sorta kinda rituals" that I do daily or almost daily. And I enjoy them.

Rain

I don't know about you, but I've always loved rain. And today, after some time, it finally rains! So I decided to snap a few pictures. I admit, there are only three, but I think they are good. And to be honest, here where I live, there isn't much to snap photos of. I will probably have to start taking my camera with me wherever I go and snap everything good I see. Might be a good idea, don't you think?
Well, it doesn't really matter right now. So, without further ado, here are the photos. Also, for bigger version, click on the pictures.

Finished Dragon

Hi,
I know you've seen this dragon before, but! He was missing a wing. And I only realized that after I published the post. So, then I went back to it and added the missing wing. I admit I'm not the best at drawing wings, but I really like this picture.
And I hope you like it as well, at least a little bit. And even if you don't like it, it would make me happy, if you left a comment.

Chemistry, chemistry

In response to the daily prompt challenge on wordpress
A few years ago, I saw a musical based on The Prince of Tennis anime. Well, actually, it is a series of musicals, but only the first three or so have english subs. So I only watched the Dream Lives that don't really need the subs. The thing is, the first one had subs.
Also, there was this moment, they show embarassing pictures of the tennis club members. Well, Inui does and then they show Inui's. And he's makin an Inui Juice. And it overflowes. And then there's Kikumaru Eiji. And he says: "Chemistry, Chemistry."
That itself isn't that funny, but in the context, it is. And sometimes, I just remember it and I just have to laugh. Not many poeple would understannd this. Not even after watching the musical, which would require to watch the anime first, or at least read about it, but that doesn't matter.
It cheers me up and that is what matters, don't you agree?
See ya!

Note to self

Okay,
Next time I write a post, I will first write it here and not on wordpress, because if I copy it from wordpress, it messes with my settings and I have to redo it in a very complicated way!
See ya!
