A dragon

HI!
I've got a picture for you guys! You see, my mother was playing Taptiles on my computer today and while she was doing that, I took a pencil and a sheat of paper. And I started doodling lines and other squigles. Then, I decided to turn it into a real drawing. So, a dragon came alive. I had some problems with the legs, mainly the hind legs, but I managed. And that's because I had a poster of a dragon behind me. I studied the legs and found out they are more cat-like than the horse like legs I've been always drawing. And this improved my dragon-drawing skills.
The front legs are still a bit of a challenge, but that's probably because I just don't know what to do with them. This time though, they came out kinda nicely. So that is good. And even the head came out nicely.
Okay, enough talk, here he is!

Didn't plan this...

Hi,
I just met an interesting guy via Hi5 webpage. We exchanged skype and photos. And I actually snapped a new one of me. And then I got an idea. I will post the photo here. I'm not saying I'm that pretty looking, quite the oposite, but hey, One photo cannot hurt.
I promise that if you don't like it, I won't post any more of them, deal? Okay, here it is. Oh, and ignore the mess on the couch. I've got yarn there and all kinds of threads.

Noah

Hi,
So, I decided to discard the idea to write about ABEL: It Can't Be You and move directly to the post about the Noah movie I was talking about earlier.
So, where to start, where to start... I should probably mention that I saw it in 3D and that makes even a bad movie seem okay. Anyway, so I saw the movie. The idea is directly taken from the Bible, obviously, since it is the big flood or whatever it is called in english... The movie starts with talk about Adam and Eve and their line. And how it is split into two lines. From one, Noah is, the other one is the line of Kain. By the way, why is it always the guys with cool names that are the bastards?
Okay, nevermind that. Moving on.
So, Noah has been told by god. He was told that all the evil will be flushed out by the flood. And he is to save the inocents. The animals. And he starts building the Arch with his family. Which includes a girl they found – Hermione... Ehm... Pardon – Illa (Is it two L?).
I really don't want to reveal too much, but I'm suspecting that you know the story from the Bible anyway. So, they build the arch, then tehy fight off the other humans on the planet, because, obviously, they want to be saved.
Ah, and Noah is such a badass. At first, he believes that his family is to die out after they save the animals, but the twin daughters of Illa and Chem (Shem?)? *doesn't know the english spelling for his name* change that. They make him see that not all humanity is bad.
And in the end, they land and start making their home there.
And then, there is this moment! A moment where you just want to sing a song from this french/czech movie La Creation du Monde. That was the french name, in czech it is Stvoření světa, in english it should be The Creation of the World. However, I have no idea wether the song is in the original version, or if it was for example translated in english. I only have the knowledge of the song in czech. And it's great. And this song... There was this moment in the movie, almost at the end, when Noah tells them to repopulate the world. In czech, it's almost the words from the song, no Idea what he says in english. So, I imagined the song. Sure, it's in czech and majority of you won't understand, but I will still link it.
And the conclusion? Go watch the movie. It's good. And it has good actors. Apart from Hermione, because that is waht Emma Watson will always be to us, Harry Potter fans, there is Anthony Hopkins and other well known actors. Though I will have to check who plays the sons. I have no idea and I wanted to find out yesterday!

See ya.

Cinema

Hi, yesterday (13. 4. 2014) I went to the cinema with my mother and grandfather to watch the Noah movie. And I have to say it was great! However, I will leave the evaluation of the movie itself to a post of its own. This post is more about the whole experience.
So, like every Sunday, my grandpa came to our house for lunch, several days before, I made us a reservation in the cinema, so that we can have good seats. And so some time after the lunch, we wnet.
And this is where the fun starts. You see, whenever grandpa is with us, we end up arguing about all the unimportant stuff. So, this time, it was how to get to the cinema. Mom and grandpa had these weird ideas but I shot those down and told them we were taking a tram. Yeah, I admit it is a bit of a walk to get to it, but it was a nice day. Not too hot and not too cold, so there.
When we got off, it was another debate, wether to take another tram and go one stop or if we are to go on foot. I was all for going on foot, but grandpa just ahd to go by tram and unfortunatelly, mom agreed with him. At least hte tram was already there so we didn't have to wait. I'd say that's a good thing.
And then, we went to the "Velký špalíček", which is where the cinema is. (Kudos to those who can guess which city I'm from!) and we got the tickets. Also we got the Cinema City Club card! I just love all the cards! And I just had to have it. I mean, it is convenient, because, with it, all the tickets are cheaper and with the points, you can get free tickets too!
And then, we got something to drink because I just cannot survive a movie without drinking!
Also, after a long time, We got popcorn to go with the movie. Usually, I don't buy it, but this time, I was feeling like munching on something while watching. Unfortunatelly, we were there early and I ate the popcorn before the movie even started... But it was still a fun thing.
The movie was good! I mean, all the good actors, one of them being Hermione, and while I don't remember the names of the others, I know they are very well known. I think one of them was Anthony Hopkins. But I just don't remember the names of the actors. I mean, I can tell you almost all the main actors from Lord of the Rings, but this? No, I don't remember. But I did enjoy the movie!
*And a bird just flew past my window*
Okay, and now I'm seriously distracted! Not by the bird, but by thinking about writing my stories! And I honestly don't know what to write more to this. So bye.

See ya.

Can't get it out of my head

Okay, so after a while, I'm responding to the Daily Prompt again. This time, it's about obsession. And I have a big one. For several years now. So, basically, I'm a girl that cannot live without slash. Reading it, watching it, whatever, but I need slash, or for those, that don't understand, I like gay stuff. Especially if the guys are hot and sexy!
I started watching shounen-ai anime in, I think it was my second grade of high school. So I was about 17 at that time. The first I watched was, I think, the anime Gravitation? Or was it not? Seriously, I don't remember. I watched too many of them at that time. Even hardcore yaoi. And then, it wasn't enough, because, there were many animes where I started to disagree with the canon couples. And not just animes.
Like... Harry Potter. I just cannot stand Giny. And there are so many guys Harry could be with! Like... Lord Voldemort, Viktor Krum, Rabastan, Bill or Charlie Weasley. So many! And yet, Rowling sticks him with little whory Giny. Nope, don't like her.
And it's not just Harry Potter, it's for example LOTR as well! I mean, Legolas and Aragorn? Who can say no to that?
There are much more. Mainly animes like Bleach, One Piece, Vanguard, what am I watching also? Oh yes, Spiral (watched that at least as many times as it has episodes). Basically, anything that has sexy guys, I go and try to find stories that have the couples I like. Which is mostly non-canon.
This same thing is true with computer games. As well as pure fantasy.
I not only read and watch slash, I also write it. First, it was only original stories, and all in czech, but recently, I got into writing in english and fanfiction. Not that much fanfiction, and it mostly centers around the computer game Legend of Grimrock, but it is slash. And it is fanfiction.
So yeah, that would be what I'm obsessed with. Slash. Can't imagine living without it. I mean, if I couldn't read it or write it, fine, I can still at least think it, but if for some reason, I couldn't even think it, it would be really bad! And I mean bad for those that forbid it!

See ya.

Contact

Hi.
Just wanted to quickly tell you that I added contact to the menu. It's at the top and you can use whatever you want to contact me. E-mail and ICQ are preffered, but skype works also. I'd give you more contacts, but I just don't have any. I mean, I could give you my facebook, but I don't really go there... I don't like facebook and the only reason I have it is that it enabels you to quickly register into some games without having to fill lenghty forms first.
See ya.

X. Aratare – Birth Rite

A darkish book about a boy who is living the life of someone else. Kinda. He was kidnapped from his crib and raised by some other people, away from his clan that has complicated french name! And I will not write it!
Then, he somehow becomes interested in this weird mannor and his inhabitant(s). And then he meets them. After his friend is devouered by  this worm-ish thingy.
I started the book a while back and finished not too long ago. So I don't really remember the begining. But the ending is dissapointning. It ends with the boy defying his true heritage and going back to his "foster" parrents.
The plot idea is good, but I think it could have been written differently. In a more interesting way and with a different ending. I probably won't be reading anything else from this author. And frankly, I don't recommend the book.
There are definitely better slash books out there.

See ya.

The Sandlot

An older movie, I believe the year it was made in is 1993 or something? Correct me if I'm wrong. Well, the year doesn't matter that much.
So, this movie is about a boy who moves into a new neighbourhood and meets a boy named Benny. Benny Rodriguez. This kid together with a group of others plays baseball almost everyday on this bit of land called The Sandlot. The new kid – Scotty Smalls – sees them and in the end becomes one of them. And if left at this, it would be boring as hell, but that's not the case, because there is the "Monster". A monster behind a fence. And when the boys lose a ball that was signed by a famous baseball player and it falls victim to the monster, they try everything they can to save it. The only thing they don't try is knocking on Mr. Mertle's door.
In the end, Benny jumpes over the fence and gets the ball. Only, the "Monster" starts chasing him so he runs around the neighbourhood and leads it back to the fence, which falls over the "monster". Smalls then pleades with the boys to help him lift the fence because the "Monster" which is actually a big dog, is crushed under it and it's hurting him.
And then, there's a happy ending and the dog kinda becomes the official mascot of the kids.
Yes, the plot is simple and the movie is kinda old, but it is nicely done and I will probably watch it again. I watched the second movie in the series before this first one and it was good, but the first one is better.
There is also a third movie, but I stopped watching after about fifteen minutes into the movie. It cannot meassure up to the first two! No way! And the first is still the best. So, if you want a relaxing movie that still has an interesting plot, go watch The Sandlot. :)

See ya.

Brody's Ghost: Books 1-3

So, after some time, I finally got my hands on Mark Crilley's manga – Brody's Ghost. I still haven't read the fourth book, but the first three are great! Brody is an outcast of sorts and then he meets Talia – a Ghost. And he's the only one who can see her. They become friends after some time and Brody trains his supernatural powers with this old grumpy ghost from a shrine.
All this while there is a murderer who kills young ladies and leaves a penny on their persons. And Talia cannot go to heaven till the murderer is captured.
And somehow, Brody gets a vision of his former girlfriend being the next target and dying on a rainy night. So, he starts stalking her. And she explodes on him. And then he finds something about how Talia died and that it might all be connected together.
And I love it all! So, Mark also wrote the Miki Falls series (Four books), but I didn't read it. Somehow, it seemed like it would be too girly. And I don't like girly. Seriously, I don't mind Talia, but other than that, there are very little female protagonists that I like. One more exception might be Belatrix Lestrange... But that's neither here nor there.
So, I love the way the books are drawn and all the details. Oh, and the fact that the main main character is a guy is a big plus! I don't however like Brody's ex-girlfriend. She's so not likable. And I wouldn't mind if the murderer got her. Only, it would be bad for Brody so I guess she can live... I don't like her though. Never will.

Legend of Grimrock mod: Bardel Tower

Another Grimrock Mod, that I've finished. Actually, it was a while ago. I just wasn't feeling like typing it out. Well... I didn't finish it per se, because, I just don't know where to get more of the blue gems... Other than Hell, but the problem is that Hell is a trap and you will never bee able to leave it.
Also, Bardel tower are actually two separate mods. Bardel Tower and Bardel Tower II. I've got both and once I figure out how to get into certain spaces, I will finish playing it. When a person figures this out I think it can be finished fairly quickly. Still, it is good, has interesting story, false heaven and a lot of traps. Not traps per se, but misleading things, like the hell, heaven, limbo, and so on. I really like this mod and will go back to it at some point. Just not right now.
The Tower has several floors. The top one is a cell with a prisoner (you), unless you're playing the second one and there you start at the bottom, I think. I'm not sure I remember it correctly. But probably yes.
Okay, moving on. This mod can be played with a single member of your party or with full party. Also supports hybrid parties of two or three members. I played with my three people hybrid party and with Toorum. Good play it was.
So, go play it.
That's it from me.

See ya.
