The Queen of Ice

I don't remember when I drew this but I know it was done with these twisty crayons. At that point, they were still pretty much unused and I wanted to test them out some more. I know that much. And, well, this is one of the results of that testing. I call her the Queen of Ice. 
Because, why not. She does look kinda icy. But at the same time, she's smiling, so she's probably not that bad. I used white acrylic paint for the highlights.

Horse

 

Yes, it is a yellow and blue horse. Deal with it. I'm actually very happy with how this one turned out. Done in markers and some colored pencils in my crappy sketchbook. Enjoy.

Just a portrait I drew. Probably with a bit of help from some youtube video or other. And I'm also pretty sure it is done with a colored pencil. It doesn't seem to be a graphite pencil. But it's hard to tell from just the pic I took of the drawing. And I don't feel like pulling out the sketchbook it is in.

I have started this years and years ago. And then finally I decided to finish it. It is a mix of markers and colored pencils. Hope you like it.

A Plague Rat

A sewer rat. Done with paints. Though I might have done some sketching with a pencil first. Also, this is done on an extremely crappy paper. But hey, I just wanna fill that sketchbook and it's one where I don't care if I mess up. So that's great about it. 
In the background, my former keyboard is visible. It was great but it stopped working. I now have an even better one that was actually cheaper too! So great.

Elf

Just an elf with a scribbled background. Done in colored pencils and some paint or gel pen for the highlights. Oh, and done on rather crappy paper. And, you can see a part of one of my bookshelf in the background. Enjoy.

A Joker turned Raphael

 

I drew this using a Joker reference on youtube. However, it somehow turned into Raphael from Soulcalibur. At least that's what it looks like to me. Still, not too bad. Done in pencil and I believe I used white posca or gel pen to add highlights.

Just some architecture

 

I promised myself I would post something today. This was offering itself. It is a little old, like two months or so, maybe three, but I think it's good. I like it. And I hope you like it too. It is done with colored pencils if I remember correctly. And some black liner to do the outline. Well, sketchy outline. Do you like it? Tell me in the comments.

I really should use crayons more...

 

I honestly don't know what I was doing here. But the end result is not too bad for it being done with just crappy crayons. Well, after sketching it with a pencil first. Hope you don't dislike it too badly.

More Colored Pencils Pictures

 

Excuse the green nose. Some marker from the previous page bled through. It is a redraw of an old pic. And I think that this one is better.

Rose Garden

 

And no, I'm not talking about the book (or movie) of the same name. Even though I had to read the book some years back for school. It wasn't a bad book but it wasn't exactly my cup of tea. So, this pic. Done in pencil over some sketch that looks like it's green? No, wrong. The green came later. I started with a pencil only. But then came the green and the roses. Hence it's called Rose Garden.

I hate Spongebob

 

Why did I draw Spongebob when I hate him? Rough sketch done in pencil, outline in a variety of brush and fine liners. Spongebob is done with oil pastels, the rest is acrylic paint. I mean, I love how it looks, I just hate the subject. But the random generator decided for me so I had no power over it.

Flower Power

 

This is totally based on a sketchbook idea from a youtube video. The background is a gradient done with some markers. Can't remember if they were alcohol or water-based though. The rest of it is done in pen. And it hated me. It kept dying on me. Even still, I love the final result. 

Colored pencils picture vomit

 

Based on a youtube tutorial by Yong Chen, but after seeing the subject, the real inspiration was a Czech poem for kids.

Scorched Earth Queen

And again, I have a redraw of an old pic. Actually, I decided to redraw a lot more of them. They have (most of them) great ideas, but a lot of the time, the execution just doesn't do the idea justice. So I'm redrawing a whole bunch of them. Enjoy.
